My parents gave me my first camera (a bright pink 110 camera) at a young age, and I fell in love with creating photographs. I outgrew that camera quickly as I studied photography throughout my childhood. I was pleased to win my first photography contest at the age of 12 and thrilled to be published for the first time when I was still in high school. Then, I was admitted to BYU as a photography major, where I studied photography and art for 2 years. My education continues daily as I study technique and method in order to constantly improve my work.
I lived in California for most of my life and still have a strong client base there, some of whom wait for my visits in order to have their family photos taken. My husband and I moved to Utah in order to pursue his education. While he continues his studies, we’re both enjoying the scenery and many opportunities for photography here. |
